1.1 Hi, we’re Doczilla. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of the Doczilla marketplace and related services and sets out how you may use Doczilla and what you may not upload, post, list, sell, purchase, distribute, or otherwise make available.
1.2 Your use of Doczilla is conditional on your acceptance of, and compliance with, this AUP. Please read it carefully and check back periodically, as it may be updated from time to time.
1.3 Capitalised terms have the meanings given in Section 7 (Definitions). Words like “including” mean “including without limitation.”
2.1 You must not use Doczilla or any Content on Doczilla, or upload, submit, post, build, create, host, list for sale, or otherwise make available any Content, that contains, facilitates, links to, or promotes any of the following:
(a) Adult sexual content
Sexually explicit/pornographic material (e.g., nudity or sexual activity) or commercial activities tied to adult content (e.g., escort agencies).
(b) Exploitation or endangerment of children
Any content that harms, sexualises, or exploits children, or encourages attraction toward children.
(c) Hate speech or unlawful discrimination
Content condoning or encouraging violence, discrimination, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
(d) Incitement or threats of violence / self-harm
Content that threatens, incites, or glorifies violence or self-harm.
(e) Harassment and bullying
Targeted harassment, doxxing, intimidation, or malicious shaming of individuals or groups.
(f) Defamation
False statements presented as fact that damage a person’s reputation.
(g) Infringement of third-party rights
Copyright, trademark, moral rights, trade secret, privacy, data protection, confidentiality or publicity rights violations.
(h) Grossly offensive or “shock value” content
Material a reasonable person would find gratuitously offensive or intended to shock.
(i) Fraud, deception, or misleading conduct
False, misleading, or deceptive statements, including fabricated credentials or claims about a Template’s legal/regulatory efficacy.
(j) Illegal or regulated goods/services
Content that promotes illegal activity, weapons, illicit drugs, unlawful gambling, or evasion of law/regulation.
(k) Malware or harmful code
Viruses, trojans, ransomware, backdoors, malicious macros, tracking pixels/beacons embedded in document Templates, or any attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
(l) Activities that cause harm to Doczilla or others
Pirated software, scraping of full libraries, credential stuffing, or tools designed to compromise security, privacy, or platform integrity.
(m) Use of Doczilla Content for AI training (without permission)
Using Doczilla or any Content to train, develop, or enhance AI/ML models (directly or indirectly) without an express written licence from Doczilla or the applicable rights holder.
(n) Unauthorised legal/financial/medical advice representations
Templates that (i) purport to be government-issued or regulator-approved when they are not; (ii) guarantee legal, tax, accounting, engineering, or medical outcomes; or (iii) are presented as a substitute for professional advice contrary to law or professional standards.
(o) Unauthorised personal data or confidential information
Uploading others’ personal information or confidential data without lawful basis and consent; including datasets embedded in Templates that reveal personal information or commercially sensitive data.
(p) Circumvention
Links, instructions, or mechanisms that bypass Doczilla purchases, licences, payment processes, download flows, usage limits, or audit/logging.
3.1 Doczilla is a professional community and marketplace. You must not:
- Gain unauthorised access to any system, account, API, index, or data; probe or scan platform security.
- Solicit off-platform deals intended to avoid Doczilla fees, licences, or audit trails.
- Enter side arrangements that conflict with Doczilla terms or applicable licences.
- Impersonate Doczilla, mirror/look-alike the site, or otherwise mislead users.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest (manually or via bots/automations) beyond what is permitted by robots.txt or explicit API terms; mass-download libraries or metadata.
- Disrupt or degrade the service (DDoS, rate-limit abuse, bulk automation to manipulate rankings/downloads).
- Spam (e.g., keyword stuffing, irrelevant tags/categories, repetitive listings, promotional comments).
- Manipulate signals (fake reviews, ratings, downloads, sales, or engagement).
- Embed external payloads in Templates that call home, track recipients, or collect data without informed consent and legal basis.
3.2 Template quality & metadata (applies to Authors):
- Accurately describe scope, use cases, and limitations; no false claims of “regulator-approved.”
- Provide clean files: no malware, macros, or hidden links; no password-protected archives without a clear and documented purpose.
- Use relevant tags and categories; avoid SEO gaming.
- Include clear placeholders where user customisation is needed; avoid hard-coded third-party data.
- Do not require buyers to download from external sites to obtain the purchased Template or its updates (unless expressly permitted by Doczilla).
4.1 To protect the community, we use a combination of automated systems and human moderation to identify, review, and address suspected violations of this AUP and other Doczilla terms and policies.
4.2 You agree to cooperate with our investigations and to provide prompt, accurate information reasonably requested by Doczilla.
4.3 Report a concern:
- Urgent abuse, illegal content, or policy violations: use our contact form at https://au.doczilla.co/contact/ (select the most relevant category).
- Intellectual property notices (e.g., DMCA or equivalent): submit via https://au.doczilla.co/contact/ and choose “IP/DMCA,” or email legal@au.doczilla.co.
4.4 Where required by law (e.g., under the EU Digital Services Act), we will prioritise notices from designated authorities or trusted flaggers, while applying our policies consistently to all users.
5.1 We may determine, in our sole discretion, whether conduct or Content violates this AUP, considering factors such as (a) absolute and relative volume of violations, (b) severity and potential/actual harm, (c) user intent and history, and (d) legal risk.
5.2 If we believe a violation has occurred, we may, without notice or liability and without limiting other remedies, take one or more of the following actions:
- Request you remove, edit, or disable the Content.
- Remove, disable, demote, or restrict visibility of Content; add warnings or notices.
- Suspend or terminate your account(s) or agreements, temporarily or permanently.
- Disable selling privileges or access to certain features or programmes.
- Withhold payouts or benefits associated with violative Content or conduct.
- Notify competent authorities where required (e.g., child safety, credible threats, other unlawful activity).
5.3 Suspension or termination may result in forfeiture of licences, access, listings, data associated with your account (subject to applicable law).
5.4 Appeals: If available in your region, you may appeal moderation actions via https://au.doczilla.co/contact/ (choose “Appeal a moderation decision”). - EU users: where the DSA applies, you may have access to out-of-court dispute settlement bodies once designated by your Member State. Decisions of such bodies are not binding on you or Doczilla.

6.3 Security reports (good-faith): security@au.doczilla.co (PGP optional).
Do not submit sensitive personal information through non-secure channels.
7.1 Content: Any information, data, materials, or digital goods uploaded to, shared on, listed on, distributed via, or otherwise made available through Doczilla, including but not limited to document Templates (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google formats, PDFs), text, images, audio, video, code/macros, metadata, and descriptions.
7.2 Doczilla, we, us, or our: Doczilla and/or its affiliates and/or nominees.
7.3 Doczilla Services: The Doczilla marketplace at https://au.doczilla.co and any website, subdomain, app, API, plugin, integration, AI assistant, communication channel, help centre, or related service that references this AUP.
7.4 Template(s): Professional document templates and related assets listed or distributed via Doczilla.
7.5 User: Any person or entity accessing or using Doczilla Services (including Authors and Subscribers).
7.6 Author: A User who lists, uploads, or supplies Templates on Doczilla for distribution or sale.
7.7 Subscriber/Buyer: A User who purchases or licenses Templates via Doczilla.
8.1 We may update this AUP from time to time. The “Last revised” date above tells you when we last changed it. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice where required by law. Your continued use of Doczilla after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
