User & Subscriber FAQs
What is Doczilla?
Doczilla is an online subscription platform providing professionals with access to a large library of industry-specific, pre-made document and file templates.
Who creates the templates?
Templates are created by experienced professionals from the same industries (e.g., CPAs for accounting templates), ensuring accuracy, relevance, and high professional standards.
How does the subscription work?
You purchase a monthly subscription plan, which gives you access to a certain number of templates within a Template Library available to you – based on your subscription plan. Additionally – witihin that Template Library you can then download a certain number of templates (choose from your available Template Library) in any single month. If you run out of templates to download in a month – you can either (a) add some Top Up templates on an ad hoc basis as a one-off purchase or (b) wait until your next billing cycle, when your download limit will reset or (c) upgrade your plan
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you may cancel at any time. Access to templates continues until the end of your current billing cycle.
What’s the difference between the Standard License and the Subscription License?
Please visit the Standard License page or the Subscription License page (available in the footer of this website) to see a full breakdown of inclusions in each license, as well as a comparison of feaatures / inclusions, side by side.
Can I resell templates from Doczilla?
❌ No. Templates cannot be resold, redistributed, or treated as standalone commodities under any circumstances. This is covered under the Standard License, Subscription License, and Prohibited Use Policy.
Can I edit and customise templates?

Do unused downloads roll over to the next month?
No. Download allowances reset each billing cycle.
What formats are templates available in?
Most templates are in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs or PDF, depending on the document type. Most templates are in more universally available and useable formats so that subscribers do not need special software outside of what they are already using to access and utilise them.
Other file types are also available for particular needs – eg CAD, Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Google Forms (when fillable templates are required), Microsoft Forms (also when fillable templates are required) among others.
Can I share templates with my team?
You may share End Products (finished deliverables that you have created by editing and or customising the original template files that you have downloaded via a valid purchase or subscription) within your organisation. Sharing raw templates that you have not updated and or edited and or customised outside your licensed users may violate the Fair Use Policy.
Can I brand the templates with my company logo and details?
Yes ✅. Templates are designed for personalisation and branding by subscribers.
Are templates country-specific?
Yes. Templates are generally created with jurisdiction-specific rules, laws, and best practices, e.g., Australian templates for Australian accountants. As a general rule of thumb if your industry and or profession is regulated in a region-specific way, and the template you are accessing is designed for a use that would likewise be regulated in a region or specific way, then the template will be region (jurisdiction) specific.
But there are certain templates that are for purposes that are not region specific (for example certain marketing documents / files), and these may not be region-specific. The region (country) that templates are specific to is usually clearly denoted in the details regarding the template.
Do I own the templates once downloaded?
No. You are granted a license to use them. Doczilla and its contributors retain ownership of all templates.
Can I use templates after cancelling my subscription?

What if I misuse a template or breach the policies?
Misuse of templates (e.g., reselling, redistributing) may result in termination of your subscription and or additional action under the Terms of Use and Prohibited Use Policy.
How do I know a template is compliant with industry standards?
Templates are developed and reviewed by professionals in their respective industries and are regularly updated in an attempt to reflect best practices and compliance requirements. That said all subscribers / users are encouraged to ensure they use any template with caution and are advised that per Terms Of Use they are responsible for performing their own due diligence to be applied to any template and or any content contained therein. Templates are time saving frameworks only – individual contents are updated regularly – but all use is at the user’s own risk and is based on the premise that users exercise their own assessment, judgement and professional standards.
Can I embed templates into my own software or platform?
No. Embedding templates into apps, platforms, or “build-your-own” systems is prohibited under the Prohibited Use Policy.

Do you provide training or support on how to use templates?
No. Doczilla provides guides, FAQs, and documentation. Templates are designed to be easy to use without training and without support.
