  • Invoice Ageing Tab
    • Purpose: Summarizes all outstanding invoices into standard ageing groups.
    • Contents:
      • Effective Date
      • Ageing Value (number of days overdue)
      • Ageing Group (Current, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150+ days)
      • Balance
    • Example: As of 30 Sept 2024, the report shows $15,000 current and $25,000 overdue at 30 days, with no balances in older buckets (see page 2 table).
    • Use Case: Quickly assess total overdue amounts and identify collection priorities.
  • Outstanding Invoices Tab
    • Purpose: Lists invoice-level details feeding into the ageing summary.
    • Contents:
      • Invoice Number, Date, Customer Account Ref
      • Invoice Amount
      • Ageing Value (days overdue)
    • Example: On page 3, invoice INV1546 ($15,000) is current, while INV1548 ($25,000) is 30 days overdue.
    • Use Case: Drill down to specific invoices driving the overdue totals.
  • Collection Log Tab
    • Purpose: Records all collection activities against overdue invoices.
    • Contents:
      • Date, Customer, Invoice Number
      • Contact Person and Method (phone, email, meeting)
      • Outcome/Notes
      • Next Action & Follow-up Date
      • Status (page 4 shows the log template ready for use).
    • Use Case: Provides an audit trail of credit control efforts, ensuring follow-ups are consistent and visible.
