Subscription License

The Doczilla Subscription License grants you, the active subscriber, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use Doczilla’s digital works (items and/or templates) in connection with your professional services and deliverables.

This license expands on the Doczilla Standard License by allowing multiple End Products and/or multiple clients, but only for so long as you maintain a valid, paid subscription to Doczilla.

1. Scope of License

  1. While your subscription is active, you are licensed to use Doczilla items and/or templates in the creation of unlimited End Products for yourself or for multiple clients.
  2. The license immediately ends if your subscription lapses, is cancelled, or terminated. Continued use of items after that point requires an active subscription.
  3. As with the Standard License, items and/or templates must never be commoditised, resold, or redistributed as standalone works, regardless of modifications.

2. Defining an End Product

An End Product is a finished deliverable that:

  • Requires skill, effort, or customisation, and
  • Uses items and/or templates as part of a larger service or professional output, not as a standalone template.

Examples:

  • ✅ Customised HR policy manual prepared for multiple business clients.
  • ✅ A series of tax planning reports delivered to different accounting clients.
  • ❌ Selling the raw Doczilla template itself on a marketplace.
  • ❌ Offering Doczilla templates as your own stock library.

3. Permitted Uses

  • ✅ Use items and/or templates for unlimited End Products and/or clients, provided you are a paying subscriber at the time of use.
  • ✅ Modify, adapt, and incorporate templates into larger professional deliverables.
  • ✅ Deliver End Products to your clients as part of paid services (accounting, financial planning, HR, compliance, etc.).
  • ✅ Make unlimited copies of End Products, provided they are not distributed as standalone templates.
  • ✅ Continue to support clients using deliverables created while your subscription was active (but you cannot create new End Products without an active subscription).

4. Prohibited Uses

  • ❌ You cannot sell or redistribute Doczilla templates as templates (standalone, modified, or bundled).
  • ❌ You cannot repackage or incorporate Doczilla templates into your own subscription services, platforms, or tools.
  • ❌ You cannot distribute templates to end users in “build-it-yourself” systems, such as apps or generators.
  • ❌ You cannot extract individual elements (e.g., clauses, icons, designs) for resale or redistribution.
  • ❌ You cannot use templates in logos, trademarks, or service marks.

5. Ownership

  • All items and/or templates remain the property of Doczilla and its contributors.
  • You are granted a license to use them under these terms; ownership is not transferred.

6. Lawful & Ethical Use

  • Items and/or templates must only be used for lawful purposes.
  • They cannot be used in defamatory, misleading, obscene, or harmful ways.
  • If a template contains material that references third-party intellectual property, it may be licensed for editorial use only — you are responsible for ensuring you have clearance for your intended use.

7. Termination

  • Your right to create new End Products ends immediately if your subscription expires, is cancelled, or terminated.
  • Continued use of items after termination is a breach of license.
  • Any End Products created lawfully during your subscription may still be used by you or your clients, but you cannot create new ones without re-subscribing.

8. Definitions

  • End Product: A larger deliverable or service outcome that incorporates Doczilla templates, customised or adapted with skill and effort.
  • Subscription: An active, paid Doczilla plan that entitles you to access, download, and use items/templates.
  • Items and/or Templates: Digital works provided by Doczilla (templates, documents, policies, guides, etc.).
  • Sell or Resell: To license, sub-license, distribute, or otherwise offer an item or template as a standalone work for a fee or free of charge.

9. Summary

The Doczilla Subscription License gives you maximum flexibility:

  • Use templates for unlimited clients and deliverables,
  • As long as you remain an active subscriber,
  • But you cannot commoditise or resell templates themselves — they must always form part of a larger service or deliverable.
